How feeling unsettled and ENOUGH are the best clues you could have!

There comes a time in life when a woman says, ‘Enough!’ If you’re clear about what you’ve had enough of, that’s great. Sometimes you’re not clear. Your only clue is what I call feeling ‘itchy-scratchy.’ Unsettled, uncertain, unhappy to a lesser or greater extent…

Then, all you can do is just avow ‘ENOUGH!’ and trust what needs to change will emerge. Once it does, you either run with it or shrink back from it depending on how courageous you feel at the time.

But, take it from me, when your Wild Soul’s urging you towards growth it’s far better in the long run to listen up. There have been times when I did and times when I didn’t.

I didn’t listen on my wedding day when the biggest NOOOOOOOOOO! You can imagine shouted out in my head. I did years’ later when the anti-life gremlins in me had me on the verge of killing myself.

I also listened in my late twenties when I just knew there was something more for me to do in the world than I was as ‘respectable suburban wife and mother.’ Going back into education led me by a very circuitous route to where I am now… And I love where I am now!

I often didn’t listen when I was too afraid that unsettled feeling would turn my whole life upside down. What I didn’t know then was it’s a choice whether to turn your life upset down or not. A personal choice.

Anyhow, guess who’s got that unsettled feeling again!

Yup… you’re never too old to expand, evolve and keep on evolving into more and more of who you were designed to be. You’re never too old to experience the joy of developing a new skill, behaviour or way of being that brings you joy.

This time I’m being urged to declutter material things… and do I have a lot of material things I can declutter. Loads and loads of them!

In this I’m absolutely sure I’m also being called to declutter things beyond the material… Do I know what that means? Not yet but I know if I continue decluttering material things somewhere along the way I will understand what’s being asked of me.

It’s out with the old to make way for the new even though I don’t yet know what that is… And now I’m experienced and wise enough to know to listen, follow what I’m being urged to do and what comes next will be revealed when I’m ready…

No stressing, no forcing, no argument, no conflict… Just getting sorted for the next magnificent step in being me.
