I don’t want to write about this…
Just thinking about it fuels my fears…
And it’s a fact of life we’ve got to face…
And how we face it is what counts!
I wasn’t taught to be resilient. I learned to be resilient when life challenges floored me, like being a single parent who couldn’t afford to eat lunch or buy a new dress. Not a big problem if you have two dresses but when you dye one to look better and it shrinks…
Somehow I would get back on my feet, dust myself down and… you knew it… start all over again!
But sometimes you get weary. You just want to put your head under the duvet and have some-one else sort it all out for a change. Trouble is there is no ‘someone’ when the buck stops surely and squarely at your feet.
Know what I mean?
So… What the feck do you do then?
Millions of people in the UK are probably thinking exactly that about our cost of living crisis and crazy energy price hikes. You might be one of them…
AND…
Where there’s life there’s hope… I promise you!
When you get over-whelmed by worry, fears and anxiety, it feels as if you’re doomed. Back in the day, bag-lady scenarios would keep me up at night big time and I would struggle to do my job through lack of sleep…
Worry, fear and anxiety paralyse you!
And that means you’re in survival mode minute to minute, unable to clear any space and put strategies in place to see you through. The fear fogs everything up.
It doesn’t have to be that way…
Now, I’m not going to go all happy clappy on you with a pile of unrealistic affirmations or suggest you visualise how you want things to be until your butt drops off with the effort!
But what I do know is holding a positive prophecy that you’ll get through OK and responding creatively to what you’ve got to deal with goes a long way to triumphing over adversity…
With a not-so-little help from your Wild Soul and the beneficial loving energy of the Universe aka the Divine.
AND you have to do your bit!
Rescue it is not…
Partnership to hold and guide you it most definitely is…
