I’ve got workmen in the house putting in new windows. The front door is open on a windy day as the one inside is going back and forth taking outside the demolished window surround as he destroys it.
I’m used to peace and quiet. I’m used to working in my own company. I’m not used to banging, drilling and the strong banter of two window fitters.
So, TBH, I’m a bit put out… Actually, more than a bit put out!
BUT…
There’s an old Rabbinical saying that it’s easy to be Jewish amongst Jewish people… (Insert your own political persuasion, religion, or gender identity for the same to be true).
It’s when you’re a fish out of water, as it were, that your metal really gets tested. And, instead of internally whingeing… oh yes, I’ve been doing my fair share of that today… I choose to do something different.
So, amidst all the disturbing hubbub, I close my eyes, take a few deep breaths and focus on writing for you, magnificent woman. And then?
Then my heart opens right up to you, the hubbub, and the two men doing me the service of making my home warmer and quieter by replacing my windows.
My Wild Soul rejoices because, at that moment, I spontaneously open to Love. How I now experience what’s going on is like a sailing ship entering calm waters after being tossed around in a storm.
So, next time you get ‘put out,’ choose to do something different.
You can close your eyes and do what I did. Or you can simply say, even just in your head, ‘I forgive myself for feeling put out and I choose Love instead.’ Repeat a few times and delight in moving from agitation to calm, from grrr to ‘it is what it is.’
A definite yum… And a taste of heaven right here on earth!
Love and wild warm wishes…

You are perfect imperfection
A divine light that yearns to shine.
So shine, woman, shine!
PS… My inner wisdom prompted me to choose to do something different. It’s always there, working in the background, knowing what’s right for you, not right for you, and how to move forward. If you’d love to be able to access and be able to listen to yours, come to my 3-day challenge in May. Be one of the very first to receive details by dropping me an email here…
