There’s a desire in me to do nothing.

You know how it is when you’ve been on the go for ages and you come to a full stop. A time to reflect. A time to assess.

And a time to do nothing!

I love the old Zen question, ‘Can you wait until the muddy water clears itself?’

We’re all so busy doing and fixing and sorting and charging around trying to control things, to have them bend to our way.

When there is such value in non-action.

Like when you’re trying to make up your mind about something and you just can’t. Pros and cons whirl round your head. This minute you think Action A is the way to sort stuff. But in the next minute, Action B or C or X or Y seem to be the right way.

Except there is no right way.

All Action A, B, C, X or Y will just take you on different journeys with the same thing.

But what if you did nothing?

What if you took some deep breaths, closed your eyes and focused deep down in your belly… Nowhere to go… Nothing to do?

What if you sat, peaceful and relaxed, knowing things work themselves out if we have the patience to give them space and time?

OK OK! I’m not saying Ukraine shouldn’t be defending itself against the Russians or you should do nothing if you’re being abused by another person.

It’s at those times we fight for our lives!

And, in all other matters, doing nothing gives you space and time to sit with yourself and allow the decision, solution or resolution to emerge. To let your own inner wisdom aligned with your Wild Soul, your original design, sort it for you easily and stress-freely.

At such moments you feel ‘OF COURSE!’ and all is clear.

Ahhhhhhh… Just feel the peace of that!

Love and wild warm wishes…
