Whether you do or you don’t, you’ve got to admit the changes in my first paragraph are a pretty impressive display of personal power!
OK… I know he didn’t do it all by himself but, whatever you think of him, being chosen as PM elect played a major part in the step back from a political precipice.
Not the economic one, of course, but, hey, we’ll soon find out more about how that’s going to impact the rest of us. As if we weren’t not putting on the heating enough!

Not a Cruella de Vil stare across the despatch box a la Truss. But a firm eye to eye holding gaze that says, ‘I see you. And I am fully here, solid and firm in my conviction!’
