I couldn’t write this week without mentioning the stark reality of another war exploding. I pray the divine feminine will bring peace to warring minds and my heart goes out to everyone caught up in the cruelty and for every injury and every loss of life.
AND…
I’ve had it with saying time and time again that if ever we needed the divine feminine’s presence in the world, surely it’s now.
Truly-truly-truly come the revolution!
By chance, I came across a LinkedIn post this week by Hetty Einzig, Co-Founder of Purpose Power Presence for Women Leaders, who sees the revolution like this…

To do that we need to understand power; to thrive we must listen to our bodies, our hearts and our souls; and to change the rules we need to believe in a purpose beyond our own success, holding a bigger vision of the world we want to create.’
YES OH YES OH FREAKIN’ YES!
Einzig works with C-Suite women, those belonging to the upper echelons of a corporation’s senior executives and managers.
I made the comment on her post that ‘changing the game’ can happen bottom-up as well as top-down. That means ordinary extra-ordinary women, like you and me, have just as important a role as any C-Suite woman in holding that bigger vision of the world.
If you’re thinking how on earth you can do that, fear not!
In the Jewish Kabbalah, the ‘Shekinah’ literally means ‘she who dwells within.’ And the ‘Shekinah’ is?
No prizes for guessing who because…
We ALL have a connection to the divine feminine and a spark of her within.
We ALL can become leaders by example for our families, communities and workplaces.
We ALL can spread the energy and influence of the divine feminine, the Shekinah, Sophia, Shakti, Gaia… whatever name you give her.
How?
By first reclaiming your relationship with her and your spark of her within. Bathe in her energy. Let her embrace and influence you so you speak with a creative voice.
I could have supported one side of the war and demonised the other, calling for the latter’s annihilation. That would have been the same-old-same-old establishment game, wouldn’t it? You know, the one that only creates more pain and divisiveness.
Tell me, if you had 2 children, would you want one to cruelly abuse, damage and kill the other?
No!
When you come from divine feminine energy in this case, you stand for peace, unity and reconciliation. In another case, you might well need to stand in her warrioress; more Kali than Mother Teresa…
It’s just a very good job the divine feminine has many forms!
So what’s it to be, woman?
