When Trump became President again, some of my American clients were, understandably, beside themselves. Not to mention a few of my UK ones!

It seemed like the cause of female emancipation would be taken back at least 20 years, and so it has transpired.

I reconnected with Marianne Williamson, who says it how it is AND how to creatively stand up to the bullies and prevailing winds, and work for the turnaround. I particularly loved her mailing last Sunday; Painful Times can be Sacred Times.

This line from it hit me full force:

“We need to moan like ancient women at funerals.”

Because you can’t dis-identify from anything with which you haven’t first identified!

Only when you grieve and express it are you free to move forward. I would say to join others in non-violent opposition and work for a more loving, kind and humane world.

“But, hey, Sharon, I don’t feel grief.”

Well, you freakin’ well ought to given the words “female” and “woman” and even “disabled” are to be barred in specific contexts by the Executive anti-Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Order!

The psychotherapist in me shrieks in horror for suggesting what you ought to feel BUT…

If theories about how you suppress or repress unwanted feelings hold water… and I think they do… it’s likely all of us women are adversely affected by dominant energies gathered against us.

Felt under the weather recently? Headaches? Unusually stressed or worried? Old injuries playing up or new ones occurring? Feeling a little less benevolent, or frustrated, or tired?

Goddess, how that tiredness can descend!

So, back to those ancient women and how they railed, moaned, and shrieked.

Nobody but nobody was NOT going to hear how they responded to the status quo. Do you get where I’m coming from, woman? 😘

Love and wild warm wishes…
