You’d be forgiven for thinking the world’s gone mad!
The climate crisis and its effects on our planet, the cost of living crisis, oppression of specified humans depending on your culture, raging wars, a movement to the right politically, a retraction of certain rights in several countries including the USA, etcetera, etcetera.
And, if you ARE thinking the world’s gone mad, I’m with you… It’s all insanity.
Correction…
It’s not the world but the human beings who inhabit it who have gone mad, who’ve lost connection with their Wild Soul, integrity and inner wisdom. If ever there was a hell, surely it must be living cut off from the highest, or deepest (depending on your perspective) of who you are.
Living dead!
Anyhow, there’s a two-year-old, wide-eyed part of my personality who sees what’s going on and, even so, says, ‘But it’s so simple. All you have to do is this… and this… and this!’
Does anyone listen?
Nope…
You and I are just single grains of sand in a whole freakin’ desert…
So what do we do, give up?
Absolutely not!
What we do is band together. Even just one hundred grains of sand with the same end in mind can achieve far more than one grain on its own!
Margaret Mead, a famous 20th-century cultural anthropologist, put it this way… ‘Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, organized citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.’ And she’s right!
I’m not unaware I’m writing this on American Independence Day. It’s a day to celebrate what freedom fighters of all kinds can achieve. Yes, I know, one woman’s freedom fighter is another woman’s terrorist but, hey, let’s stick with the freedom fighter.
Because that’s exactly what you and I are.
We’re fighting for the freedom to be more of the magnificent women we were meant to be rather than whom we were conditioned to be!
My Wild Soul rejoiced as I wrote that. For you and I have work to do, woman.
Work to align ourselves more and more with your Wild Soul and its original design, our purpose and passion. And, by so doing, align ourselves totally, totally with the healing energy of Love.
How different could the world be then?
The Dalai Lama once said, ‘The world will be saved by the Western woman.’
That’s you and me, babe… That’s you and me!
Love and wild warm wishes…
