The dreaded lurgy has me all behind!
What with the coughing and wheezing, the I-have-to-lay-my-head-down and the fatigue, things I planned to do never got done.
So, although late, I just had to get this to you ASAP before Christmas…
I spent a lot of time in the wilderness when I was young. Buffeted by any wind that came along, I reacted to what life threw at me wondering when the hell I was going to get my life on track.
And when I did get it on track, or so I thought, I opted for ‘respectability’ and being a semi-detached-suburban-wife-and-mother. That’s what I thought I wanted.
There’s nothing wrong with any of that if it’s your true heart’s desire. Rather than, as it was for me, a reaction to feeling lost, not knowing which way to go, and needing something, anything, to help me get a grip!
It certainly did that. It gripped me so tight that I often thought with frustration, ‘There has to be more to life than this!’
There was… AND is…
It took me another 13 years to find out what my heart’s desire really was…
And it’s not what you think you want, I promise you.
