There’s so much going on, I don’t know where to start!
But I’m pretty sure I’m not the only woman who majors in spinning plates.
The trick is to have only as many as you can reliably manage. Otherwise, stress and overwhelm central here you come. That’s exactly what I was in danger of creating this week.
Apart from doing all the maintenance stuff needed for the good health of my body, mind, feelings, soul, home and hearth, I’m working on several exciting projects.
TBH the home and hearth bit has gone to pot so I can focus more on the exciting stuff as follows…
Writing the first draft of my legacy book, REDISCOVERED, which takes midlife women who feel lost or adrift on an adventure to revitalise who they are, where they’re going and what they came here to do…
Through, of course, my innovative, powerful and very user-friendly Down & Dirty Spirituality.
Exciting!
And, because of that, I recognised a gap, a delicious great big nourishing something that was missing for we women on social media. When I say ‘we women’ I mean all of us committed to our personal and spiritual development in whatever way we do that.
Even more exciting!
I plan to launch it on 19th February with something special. So keep an eye out. I promise you’ll be one of the very first who’ll be let into the secret…
BTW no fee involved!
Anyhow, add to that working with my clients, professional meetings, developing my skills on an in-depth business course, taking time to breathe, creating this and social media posts, doing a fabulous visibility challenge and……
I know! Freakin crazy…
I had signed up for a second excellent challenge this week but as Monday came, I felt the deadly dread build in my guts.
You know how it is when the how-am-I-ever-going-to-cope-with-it-all signal strikes.
So, I made an executive decision and withdrew from the step too far with a huge sigh of relief. It just had to be done.
And the moral of this story is?
Well, I’m not sure it’s the moral but the message is, hey, look after yourself, woman.
Whatever the crap talked about equality, I still see women doing the bulk of the home and hearth maintenance and the caring of whoever it is you’re caring for.
Not to mention working at other things both inside and outside the home, including your job or career.
What do you think?
Is it time to withdraw from one of your spinning plates too?
Love and wild warm wishes…

Revitalise who you are, where you’re going and what you came here to do…
PS Curious about that delicious great big nourishing something I’m launching especially for us? You’ll get the details real soon… I promise. In the meantime, I’d love it if you’d connect with me on Facebook and LinkedIn. If you say ‘hello,’ I’ll get right back to you! Connect with me here on Facebook and here on LinkedIn.
