Phew!
With all the election predictions, resignations and moving across the floor in UK politics you might be forgiven for feeling they’re all as bad as each other.
Or all as good???
What I know is it’s all more whooshing energy at a time when we’re all feeling a bit ‘whooshed’ by recent events as it is!
The Goddess save me from white, women and male pin-striped (and not) politicians who think they know what’s going on for most of us when, in fact, you can tell they haven’t a freakin’ clue…
And despite all that, make sure you vote if an election’s going on in your area. I’m sure I don’t need to tell you what it cost some of our female ancestors to get women the right to vote.
So just use it even if it feels like a hapless task, even if none of the candidates ring your bell right now.
Choose the candidate who comes nearest to what you’d want from a person in that particular role.
That’s the very best you can do.
And, although it might feel that you’ve been lost in the sea of numbers in current political reality, your voice will have been heard. You would have claimed the X marks the spot for you!
And, at the end of the day, you will have been initiative-taking rather than sit on your hands and do nothing.
What’s that saying?

The ‘wo/’ addition is of course mine!
So, even if you think your vote won’t make any difference, or the party you’re voting for doesn’t stand a chance, or you think by voting for that person you’ll be letting in someone you don’t want by default…
JUST VOTE…
Because you never know, woman…
