I could have written about the Paris Olympics or Rachel Reeve’s first fiscal statement in Parliament but neither of those events woke me up several times last night.

What did was my logical mind struggling to come to terms with the murderous stabbing of children in Southport.

W T F!

There is no coming to terms with an unwarranted murderous attack on anyone.

And barbarously attacking our little people, our vulnerable and defenceless young, is a whole other level of not coming to terms with it!

As a mother and a Nana, I ache for the mothers and the fathers and the Nanas and ALL the relatives and loved ones. And I ache most of all for those little ones, our children murdered and maimed.

There is no Divine Feminising this away… She too is in mourning.

And there is no freakin’ spiritualising this away either…

There is no purpose, no meaning in what happened beyond an example of the senseless violence human beings can inflict on each other.

I talk about us having the power to create our own heaven or hell here on Earth. But this is hell visited on others by an individual whose Wild Soul can only be experiencing such a hell for itself.

No sense to make of it, no coming to terms with it, only trauma for those involved and those close to the dead and injured.

As for the rest of us, secondary traumatisation or being shocked to our very core, OR numbing out as the feelings aroused are just too much for your system to tolerate.

BTW “numbing” out can be accompanied by headaches, stomach troubles, a focus on seemingly inconsequential things, irritability or anger, and a host of other physical, mental and psycho-emotional symptoms through which we humans express the inexpressible.

So, if you recognise anything of yourself in what I’ve written, be gentle with you.

Ask, “What do I need for this to be processed through me?” Then give yourself what you need as far as you possibly can. Because…

Some things are beyond human understanding, woman…

Some things are way beyond human understanding!

Love and wild warm wishes…

Helping midlife women nourish their souls to empower their lives

PS… I help events be processed through me by sitting quietly with my eyes closed in a “nowhere to go and nothing to do” kind of way. A simple “what is, is” approach that I finish by bringing in the powerful and healing energy of Love for myself, others and the world. What better!?
