I don’t know whether to laugh or cry!
Not the usual reaction when Israel and Iran now join the world “warring” that’s going on. Or when a powerful buffoon orders a parade of military might that he suggests just coincided with his birthday.
Do they think we’re clueless?
On the contrary, my womanly being mourns for the insanity of such events!
And if I didn’t laugh, I’d cry.
But the laughter is hollow, a parody of laughter. It’s a cynical guffaw about what else you can expect from men. And the bitterness of generations subjugated by the patriarchy echoes around my mouth.
I long for the rising of women, aligned with their Wild Soul wisdom, Divine Feminine and the beating heart of Mother Nature.
Some women already speak truth to power, challenging “the way we do things around here” and who uphold it to be more humane, inclusive and loving.
But we need so many more, not just on grand stages, but the little ones, the everyday ones, the words that get spoken in the streets or family gatherings.
The words that belittle, undermine, negate, and destroy all that is beautiful and noble in the world, including us.
Powerful change can occur from the bottom up, not just from the top down, woman. And we’re in an ideal position to effect such change within our social circles, our families, and, ultimately, the world.
No wonder I’m so passionate about women being seen, heard, and freakin’ unforgettable!
